This book had its beginnings 25 years ago, when my children were still young, and we were living the world of pre-school games and songs.

The children would move seamlessly and enthusiastically between activities, and the same recognizable songs and rhymes continue to be staples of childhood play even to this day.

This work eventually morphed into a bedtime book, and as every parent knows, a good bedtime book is worth its weight in gold!
